Early Years

a.

Sekolah KHALIFA IMS was established by Yayasan Insan Madani Sejahtera in 2008 to provide alternative education for Muslim Children to develop each child to his/her fullest, give sound academic preparation to be a long life learner with international benchmarks and to be Knowledgeable, Interdependent, Muttaqin and Smart.

b.

On February 28th, 2008, Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten, located in Ruko Emerald Boulevard AA1 No. 18-19 Bintaro Jaya Sektor 9, Started to open regitration for the 2008-2009 academic year.

c.

On July 14th, 2008, Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten stated its first academic year opening two classes with a total 9 students: Nursery A 4 student and Nursery B with 5 students. It has grown fast since then

On July 11th, 2011, four turning point events took place.

a.

Indonesia Mandiri School (IMS) Kindergarten was changed into KHALIFA Indonesia Mandiri School or KHALIFA IMS.

b.

KHALIFA IMS Primary started is first academic year with 13 students.

c.

21st Century Curricula for Nursery and Kidergarten calsses were launcehed. 

d.

The adoption of curricula that feature Islam as the school ideology, cambridge International Primary Programe (CIPP), 21th Century Skill Acquisitions,

e.

Specialist Subjects to balance the left and right brain, Leadership and Enterpreneurship Trainings and Multiple Intelligence Observation for Primary. We started out with first grade and from the on, a new grade would be added every year

Leter Developments.

a.

On november 5th, 2012, Khalifa IMS Primary Grade 1 and 2 moved in to the new building.

b.

On 1st December 2014, KIMS Tegal was founded Griya majasem baru 3, Jl. Borobudur 2 no. 1, RT 02 RW 18, Majasem Barat, Tegal, 52181.

c.

On August 15th, 2017, KIMS (Khalifa Insan Madani Sejahtera Junior Secondary Grade 7 was founded on the third floor of Primary building. 

d.

On 17th July 2019, KIMS Junior Secondary moved to its new bulding.

e.

On 10th November 2020, KIMS Semarang was founded at Jalan Durian Raya No.70, Banyumanik, Semarang.

f.

On 20th April 2020, Khalifa IMS Kindergarten moved to a new building.

g.

On 9th July 2020, we had a meeting with SMA School supervisor for SMA KIMS.

h.

On 13th July 2021, SMA Khalifa IMS started its first activity for 2021/2022 Academic Year with Parent Orienatation Day.

With this prayer in our hearts from The Holy Qur'an Surah Al-Furqon (25:74):

وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ اَعْيُنٍ وَّاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ اِمَامًا

And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
